Gamers have been busy during almost all of 2023 due to the big game releases we’ve seen. From Tears of the Kingdom to Baldur’s Gate 3, everyone’s backlog keeps getting bigger, thanks to 2023 being one of the biggest years in gaming history. However, the year’s not over, and a 2020 title is about to return. With a rough launch full of issues, Cyberpunk 2077 was one of the biggest controversies of 2020. Yet, thanks to efforts by the developers and a community that just wouldn’t quit, they improved the game, showing that, beyond the problems, it had a great story and engaging RPG mechanics. Now, Cyberpunk 2077 is ready to release its Phantom Liberty DLC, and recent leaks show its potential file size.

According to leaks, the file size of the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty DLC could be 32GB. This isn’t too big, given what we’ve seen announced in previous trailers. Still, players will have to designate storage space for this DLC. Remember that this information comes from a leaker, and CD Projekt Red has not yet confirmed it. However, we don’t see this size as something crazy.

If the information about the file size of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is accurate, the overall size of the game will grow considerably. PC players will be looking at 100GB while console players 90GB. Again, this isn’t as big as other games we’ve seen this year, such as Baldur’s Gate 3 or Starfield; still, you’ll need to get a bigger hard drive or SSD to have these games installed simultaneously.

We’re now in the final stretch before the DLC launches and remember that it’s also coming with a big update for the base game. Whether you buy the DLC or not, you can enjoy the revamped police system and new talents just by having the base title.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty launches on September 25.
