Cylindrical Asteroid Fantasy Triggers Resignation of Texas Solicitor General: ‘Check His Closet for Pegging Devices’

You’d think that people who are well-versed in laws and regulations would be a bit more careful about what they say and do. Unfortunately, that’s not always the case. In fact, a recent situation in Texas proves just how far things can spiral, even among those in positions of power. It all centers around former Texas Solicitor General Judd Stone, who is now facing disturbing allegations of sexual harassment. The claims were brought forward by Jordan Eskew, a former employee in the office of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. According to Eskew, Stone didn’t just cross professional boundaries; he completely bulldozed through them.

Apparently, Stone had a habit of sharing deeply inappropriate and unsettling fantasies, and Eskew wasn’t the only one affected. Brent Webster, another employee, was also subjected to this behavior. In a letter submitted as part of the legal case, Webster described one particularly grotesque incident. The former Texas Solicitor General reportedly told a group of people, not in private but out in the open, that he had a fantasy involving Webster being violently anally raped by a cylindrical asteroid. As if that wasn’t bad enough, he wanted it to happen right in front of Webster’s wife and children.

Let that sink in for a second. This wasn’t something whispered behind closed doors. Stone allegedly said it in vivid detail to a table full of agency staff, federal judges, employees from the Governor’s Office, and others. One woman, understandably disturbed by what she was hearing, walked away from the table to escape the conversation. When she returned, some people at the table mocked her for not being able to “handle people talking about dicks.”

As for Eskew, it wasn’t just the disturbing stories. Stone reportedly insulted her regularly, sometimes even in front of Assistant Attorney General Chris Hilton. Instead of intervening, Hilton stood by and did nothing. Not only did he fail to protect his colleague, but he also allegedly joined in on some of the verbal abuse.

Eventually, the behavior caught up to them. After multiple complaints were filed, both Stone and Hilton resigned from their positions in 2023. They didn’t provide any real explanation in their resignation letters. Though, honestly, what could they possibly say?

Many Reddit users wondered why Stone even considered saying such things as appropriate, much less talking about them in detail in professional settings. Many agreed that most people have some inappropriate sexual fantasies, and that’s normal. However, we all should know that such things belong in private and shouldn’t be shared or spread around. One user commented, “They always tell you what they like to do in private. Check his closet for pegging devices.”
