Daredevil’s 60th anniversary takes place this April, and Marvel is inviting everyone to celebrate. For Daredevil #8, Marvel is bringing a ton of creators together for a jam-packed issue celebrating the Man Without Fear. Current series runners Saladin Ahmed and Aaron Kuder will continue the main story of their run for the issue. However, the special super-sized issue will also feature a bunch of guest talent. This includes members of past creative teams for the character. It is sure to be an issue fans will not want to miss.
Continuing A Hit Run
First and foremost, Daredevil #8 will continue Ahmed and Kuder’s fantastic storyline. The duo’s series finds Matt Murdock balancing life as a Catholic priest with the onslaught of demons trying to get him and his loved ones. After discovering that these demons are the seven deadly sins made flesh, Matt teams with Elektra to go on the offense.
In Daredevil’s 60th anniversary issue, Matt and Elektra confront the mysterious gang terrorizing Hell’s Kitchen. In the middle of dealing with that, an old foe of Matt’s reemerges. He brings with him the blood of his trusted allies on his hands. This pushes the series into its next phase and proves why Daredevil stories have remained popular for 60 years.
