Some of the biggest scandals in Hollywood over the years have been affairs. One of the biggest controversies of the early 2000s involved David Beckham. The football star’s ex-assistant, Rebecca Loos, alleged she hooked up with her boss while he was married. Despite Beckham denying it, Loos stands her ground decades later, insisting she “never lied” about their relationship.

David Beckham and Rebecca Loos’ cheating scandal was addressed during the new episode of 60 Minutes Australia. The Dutch model and media personality appeared on the show to reflect on her accusations toward her former boss in 2004. Loos was in her twenties when she claimed she and the English star slept together. Considering David and Victoria Beckham have always been such a power couple, Loos pats herself on the back for being “very brave” to “go up against them.“
Despite feeling intimidated by the Beckhams and the rest of the world, Loos said she has never given in to the pressure and has always been honest about what went down. “I have stuck to the truth,” Loos said. “I’ve never exaggerated. I never lied about a single thing.”
She even went into detail about the exact night of the rumored affair. The Dutch star claimed that Beckham made the first move on her. Apparently, it happened after his wife, Victoria Beckham, went out of town. Since she wasn’t in the picture, Beckham took the opportunity to seduce Loos, who was his assistant at the time. He supposedly asked her if she wanted to go back to his room with him. Since he was her boss and was married, Loos thought he was joking at first.
However, once she realized he was serious, Loos admitted she couldn’t help but give in. She said Beckham’s looks and charisma immediately won her over. “He can easily get what he wants,” Loos said, adding she woke up with “the biggest smile” after their night together.
Mixed Feelings
While she left David Beckham’s room feeling satisfied, she also felt guilty. Loos recalled showering in his wife’s bathroom, which she confessed, “didn’t feel very right.”
After their night together, Beckham apparently told Loos that it was his first time having an affair. However, shortly afterward, she saw photos of him with a model. It made her feel like Beckham had played her. Since she felt betrayed, Loos said her coming out with their affair was her way of getting back at him. “I know how much his image means to him. I just kind of wanted to make him feel some pain, too,” she said.
Following the affair, David and Victoria Beckham remained married. They’ve also welcomed four children: sons Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz and daughter Harper. Rebecca Loos is married to a doctor and has two teenage boys.
