Titanic star David Warner died on Sunday (July 24) from a “cancer-related illness” at Denville Hall, a care home for people in the entertainment business, as BBC reported. The British veteran actor’s family confirmed the news “with an overwhelmingly heavy heart” and that he approached his “diagnosis with a characteristic grace and dignity.”
“He will be missed hugely by us, his family and friends, and remembered as a kind-hearted, generous, and compassionate man, partner, and father, whose legacy of extraordinary work has touched the lives of so many over the years. We are heartbroken.”

Regarding TV, he had roles in Penny Dreadful, Ripper Street, Wallander, DoctorWho, and Twin Peaks. He also had roles in multiple Star Trek productions like Next Generation, The Undiscovered Country, and The Final Frontier.

In recent years, he consistently worked, whether that was small, oddball roles in The Alienist and Teen Titans Go! He still managed bigger jobs, like his last film was 2018’s Mary Poppins Returns with Emily Blunt, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Ben Whishaw.
David Warned died, but he is survived by his partner Lisa Bowerman, son Luke, daughter-in-law Sarah, and his first wife, Harriet.
