A new trailer for The Batman is coming to DC Fandome, according to a promo trailer for the event. The trailer ended with a shot of Robert Pattinson in his Batman suit and confirmed that new footage for The Batman would be coming on Oct. 16. The DC Fandome trailer also featured some new footage from the film as well. Pattinson and Zoe Kravitz (Catwoman) also appear to help excite fans for the event next week.
The Batman is highly anticipated and may be the centerpiece of DC Fandome 2021. Director Matt Reeves appeared at the panel at last year’s Fandome and introduced the first trailer for The Batman that ultimately broke the internet. Reeves also spoke about his experience with the character of Batman and how he really wanted to bring a Batman detective story to life. The trailer showed off Pattinson in the new suit along with a dark and brutal vision for Gotham. Some of the star-studded cast is also shown in the trailer. This cast includes Paul Dano as The Riddler, Colin Farrell as The Penguin, Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon, and Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth.
The DC Fandome trailer also featured some sneak peeks at plenty of other DC projects coming to DC Fandome. This includes Black Adam, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, The Flash (TV show & movie), Doom Patrol, Batwoman, Titans, and Supergirl. There is even some footage for upcoming DC video games such as Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
DC Fandome will have a massive list of celebrity appearances, and many of them appear in the trailer. This includes Grant Gustin, Ezra Miller, Zachary Levi, Javicia Leslie, and Dwayne Johnson, who we also briefly get a glimpse of as Black Adam. There are plenty of surprises coming to DC Fandome, but The Batman trailer will undoubtedly be a highlight.
