Update 7.2.3 patch notes have arrived for Dead by Daylight, and this version includes pretty handy changes. Unlike Patch 7.2.2, the latest release focuses on resolving issues that negatively impact gameplay rather than introducing significant new features, changes, and additions. These include Survivors are no longer able to pass through Locker collisions in certain cases. All folks, especially those who received the massive 7.2.0 version, are encouraged to take a few minutes off from playing and take a look at the changes brought by the new version. Let’s examine the Dead by Daylight 7.2.3 update patch notes.

Before announcing the latest 7.2.3 update, a community manager of the game stated, ”With this bugfix, we are reenabling Flashlights, along with three Perks: Dramaturgy, Appraisal, and Residual Manifest.”

Bug Fixes – Dead by Daylight 7.2.3 Update

  • Survivors are no longer able to pass through Locker collisions in certain cases.
  • Add missing animation for Survivor placing “Blast Mine” or “Wiretap” traps on a generator, preventing Survivors from becoming invisible and unhittable in certain cases.

So that’s it. Notes for the latest Dead by Daylight patch are above. Looking at the notes, it looks like this is a minor hotfix release, but that doesn’t mean this isn’t a patch worth installing.

If folks grab this hotfix, they’ll get changes, including that Survivors can no longer pass through Locker collisions in specific situations. Furthermore, a missing animation is being added to prevent Survivors from becoming invisible and unhittable in certain situations.

Dead by Daylight and the 7.2.3 update are out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. If you’re looking for more patch note articles on Dead by Daylight, you can check out the 7.1.1 patch released some time ago.
