Playing Dead Cells, you have to fight against many different opponents. And in each biome, they will be radically different. Moreover, the developers add various updates and DLCs to the game with even more content. For example, in the Rise of the Giant DLC, they added a Cavern biome that can be opened with a special Key.

In the Cavern biome, you will be able to fight new enemies and reach the Guardian’s Haven, where the Giant Boss is located. However, first, you need to unlock this biome. And for this, you will need to fulfill two conditions.

First, you must defeat The Hand of the King at least once to get Homunculus Rune. Reaching this final boss is quite a challenge, especially for new players. Therefore, you may have to spend a lot of time on this step.

And secondly, you must find the Cavern Key, which is located at the very beginning, in the Prisoners’ Quarters. Enter the large door and use your new ability from the Homunculus Rune. You must launch your head so that it reaches the doors and presses the buttons. Then, you can jump over the lava and get the Cavern Key in Dead Cells.
