Just a month from its release, Dead Island 2 is building up hype for those who have been waiting years for this sequel. We’ve already seen some gameplay, parts of the combat and exploration, and even some character spotlights. Now, we have something more to get people excited about the game. Dead Island 2 has released its Cinematic Title Sequence trailer or in other words, the opening cinematic. While it isn’t as iconic as the first Dead Island 2 trailer we got a lot of years ago, this one paints the picture of what we can expect in the game when it launches.
Dead Island 2 launches its Opening Cinematic Trailer
In traditional Dead Island fashion, we just got a trailer that shows exactly what the game is about. We can see some iconic landscapes that showcase the tropical feel of the city but this time they are riddled with zombies and other gruesome things. This is exactly what Dead Island 2 fans were expecting from the opening cinematic and we’re glad it is out before the game’s launch. While we are still a month away, it seems that the developers are more than ready to release the game.

As you may know, the game changed its release date but not for later. The game got an earlier release date due to it reaching gold status way before the developers planned it. This is great and shows just how good the development cycle for the game has been. While the upcoming title will be short in terms of the main story, people will be able to replay it with different builds. All in all, we think that it’ll be a good package and from what we’ve seen, the game looks quite polished. So, if you haven’t, go ahead and watch the latest opening cinematic for Dead Island 2 and remember you can still pre-order the game.
