Do you want to know how to recalibrate ADS Cannons in the Dead Space Remake? Dead Space Remake has some of the most advanced weapons and equipment, and ensuring they are calibrated correctly is essential to your survival. Fortunately, recalibrating ADS Cannons is a relatively straightforward process. This guide will tell you how to recalibrate ADS Cannons in the Dead Space Remake.

What is the Recalibration of ADS Cannons in the Dead Space Remake?

Utilized by the military science fiction game Dead Space Remake, ADS Cannons are a powerful combat tool that defends against space-based threats. These cannons have two barrels, each able to be fired individually. Although firing a single cannon doesn’t impact performance or cause overheating, its destructive potential should be taken seriously.

In chapter 4, Obliteration Imminent, you need to finish a process to move forward in the game story, the recalibration of ADS Cannon. Unlike in the original game, you must go outside the ship and manually recalibrate the ADS Cannon. You have three ADS cannons to recalibrate in zero gravity, and this is a timed mission. If you cannot finish it in time, you will fail to move on with your story.

How to Recalibrate ADS Cannons in the Dead Space Remake?

ADS Cannons in Dead Space

You can recalibrate ADS Cannons in the Dead Space Remake by activating the monitor of the Cannon and targeting any incoming asteroid by pressing the Use key to force the gun to shoot where you are aiming. You need to target five of them to recalibrate one Cannon. Here are the detailed steps you need to follow.

  1. Take the Elevator closet to the safe point, to the central Atrium, and go to the top floor.
  2. Go to the left and enter from the first door ahead.
  3. Go until you find another door and enter from that door.
  4. You will reach the save point, and Hammond will contact you.
  5. Go outside from the Door and Disengage the magnetic boots.
  6. Approach the first yellow monitor and activate it.
  7. Aim at any incoming asteroid and press the Use key to force the gun to shoot where you are aiming.
  8. Do it for five asteroids to activate the first cannon.
  9. Repeat this step for all three cannons.

Remember, ignore any enemies unless they are heavily engaged with you. Also, do not forget to find the Level 3 Rig Schematic near the panel. So, be sure to check it on your way back.

So, there you have it. Now you know how to recalibrate ADS Cannons in the Dead Space Remake. Good luck, and have fun!

Also, Dead Space Remake is available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
