2023 is a good year for the horror genre. There will be many amazing games coming, and among them is the remake of some classic horror games like Resident Evil 4 and Dead Space. Fortunately, Dead Space Remake has already been released, and it has captured the attention and gained the love of critics and horror fans. While the scary tone of Dead Space Remake will make to give up on exploration, if you want to get all the achievements, however, you must check some places that you could miss. Firing Range is one of those locations, and here is how to survive it in Dead Space Remake.

There is an achievement or trophy in Dead Space Remake called Front Toward Enemy that you can get by surviving the firing range in Chapter 8: Search and Rescue. So if you want to check this achievement, make sure you clear the firing range before proceeding to Chapter 9, because you won’t be able to come back.

Once you got into the firing range, you should be able to see the activation kiosk in the middle of the room. Once you interact with it, the firing range drill will commence. Then some red and blue holograms will appear which indicates you must shoot them.

The trick is, you don’t need to shoot all of them. Hitting two of them should suffice, and then wait for the real action. After a few moments, the room will get into quarantine mode and some Necromorphs will appear.

The first Necromoph will appear from the left side of the kiosk. After that, the second one will appear from the far right side of the kiosk. Once you’ve dealt with both of them, go to the end of the room on the right side. This way all the enemies will appear in front of you so you won’t be jumped-attack.

Deal with the rest of them, and once all the Necromorphs are killed, the room will be restored to its normal state, and you will be notified that you have gained the achievement.

Dead Space Remake is now available for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
