Earlier this week, Fox announced a whole line up of films releasing in 2018. Everyone’s favorite mouthy mercenary, Deadpool, is getting a sequel that is set to release on June 1st, 2018. The first teaser trailer for the film (featuring a very special guest) was released a few weeks ago.
As if anyone else could play the foul-mouthed superhero, Ryan Reynolds will be returning to star and produce Deadpool 2. News of the Deadpool films have been trickling out of the media for weeks now after the short in front of Logan was released, and it was also announced that Josh Brolin, who also plays Thanos in Guardians of the Galaxy, will be joining the cast as Cable. The original writers, Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, are also returning. However, the film is getting a new director David Leitch to replace Tim Miller.
