Everybody’s favorite loudmouthed mercenary may be in homes sooner than you might expect! It turns out that Deadpool’s digital release will be arriving this Tuesday, April 26th. Star of the film Ryan Reynolds confirmed on Twitter, in the most Deadpool way imaginable. Though the lack of furry, bear skinned rugs was quite noticeable. The digital copy will retail at $14.99, which you can go and pre-order here while the physical copy is set for an early May release. If you are looking for a hard copy they will run you around $19.99 for the DVD and $22.99 for the Blu-Ray, which you can pre-order both on Amazon. There is no news on what special features will come with the Blu-ray copy, though seeing the unedited version of the film might be worth the extra price tag; especially since the movie was almost rated NC-17. In our review for Deadpool, we called it “Superb” with staff member Trent Katzenberger stating: “Deadpool takes the overall concept of the character and turns that into a full-bodied script offering manic action, violence, comedy, one-liner and the occasional emotional moment in fair proportions.” Deadpool is arguably one of the best superhero films to come along in some time and is an experience that shouldn’t be missed for any comic fan.
