Best Locations to Find a Deathclaw Egg in Fallout 76

Strength in numbers is the best option to find an intact Deathclaw Egg in Fallout 76, and the best location for even early players is the Abandoned Waste Dump. This location is reachable for any player, despite the warnings against going there without a hazmat suit. Inside, you’ll typically find 2-3 Deathclaw enemies and a 1/3 chance of a preserved Deathclaw Egg.

This is not the only isolated case for these failed Enclave experiments. They’re spread across the wasteland of Appalachia. Additionally, you can find Deathclaw Eggs in the following locations:

You can go straight east into The Mire to reach Abandoned Waste Dump, but other recommended locations like Deathclaw Island are also suitable. Remember, nests found at locations like these can feature cracked eggs; it’s a numbers game.

How To Use Deathclaw Eggs in Fallout 76

These eggs are a basic ingredient that restores 10% of your hunger meter. They can be nourishing in several recipes, including the Deathclaw Egg Omelette and Deathclaw Egg Wellington. You can collect up to three of these at a Deathclaw Nest, so don’t discard them just because they’re broken. Even if it’s upsetting to see the innards leaking out. You’re a Vault-dweller; you can stomach those sights.
