Deathloop is just under a week away, meaning fans can finally jump into the shoes of Colt and take on eight different targets (alongside a rival assassin) if you have any hope of breaking free of this loop. Using all sorts of powers and your trusty weapons, you’ll have to use your superior thinking and strategy if you’re to take out all eight assassination targets in time. If you’re excited about the title, you may be wondering if it’s releasing on your favorite black and green console. No need to worry though, as we’re here to answer if Deathloop is coming to Xbox platforms!

Is Deathloop Coming to Xbox?

Deathloop is it coming to Xbox

To give you the short answer, not yet. To explain a bit further though, currently, Deathloop holds console exclusivity on PlayStation. This means it’ll be a console exclusive on both platforms there, and only them. With that being said though, you’re likely aware that Bethesda is now owned by Microsoft, the parent company of Xbox. This means that, while no official announcement has been made on its availability, the likelihood of it happening is incredibly high. This will happen well after launch though if at all, so be ready to wait a bit if Deathloop coming to Xbox is your make or break.

On the bright side, the other two platforms should still provide a wonderful experience both visually and in performance. Earlier today, the team showcased the PC system requirements for Deathloop alongside a whole host of settings you can tweak to make the game feel and run exactly how you want. You can expect a lot of these settings to be used on the PlayStation 5 version, bringing out as much of the console’s hardware as possible.

All in all, we hope this article helped you answer whether Deathloop is coming to Xbox platforms or not. If it did, be sure to let us know in the comments below.

Deathloop will launch on PC and PlayStation 5 on September 14, 2021.
