A woman in Tampa, Florida, was ready to enter her home when she received a harrowing voicemail from her husband. Defeated, the man warned her about a major diaper disaster involving their children and told her to escape from the nasty tragedy while she still could.
In a clip that serves to represent the ups and downs of being a parent of two, TikTokers Griff & Alyssa shared the hilarious bit online. Immediately, a defeated Griff warns Alyssa about the scene she might come across if she chooses to step inside the house, which is nothing short of a war zone.
“Do not walk into this house right now,” the worried husband said. “I see you parked outside. Turn around. Just leave.”
After saying that Alyssa is “too weak,” Griff described how Noa, one of their children, grabbed her sibling’s dirty diaper and “threw it against the wall.” A speechless Alyssa reacted with her eyes wide open, but the worst was yet to come.
“Then she took off her dirty diaper and she threw it. She took finger poop paint and put it all over the wall. She’s finger painting the wall with her poop,” the devastated Florida man continued.
A Major Disaster, Reactions
If children using crayons or regular paint to transform walls into art displays is enough on its own, then kids using their own “stuff” to do so is straight-up apocalypse. Griff knew it, and his voicemail was his last-ditch effort to save his wife.
After telling Alyssa to stop what she was doing and asking her to put her hands up, which she did, Griff successfully convinced her to leave. Whereas it was his “go watch Wicked” suggestion, his Chick-fil-A recommendation, or his warning that she would vomit if she entered that ultimately convinced her, it is still unclear.
The TikTok went viral almost immediately, garnering millions of views and a quarter of a million likes. Everyone in the comments praised the Florida man’s sacrifice, telling Alyssa she has the best husband in the world.
“Divorce him so you can marry him again,” one user said. Another commented, “He said SAVE YOURSELF!!!! IT’S TOO LATE FOR ME!!!!” A third commenter added, “Top-tier husband. Mine would have been like GET HERE NOW.”
If something is certain, is that Griff and Alyssa were meant for each other. How often do you see such heroism and self-sacrifice from someone in this day and age?
