It is no more playing nice for actress and reality star Denise Richards. Her nasty divorce battle with estranged husband Aaron Phypers has taken its toll. She has had all she can take and refuses to play nice any longer.
Denise Richards is moving to take legal action to remove Aaron Phypers and his family members from the Calabasas home where they have been residing for years. This comes after an ugly confrontation between Denise and Aaron early this month.
Richards nearly violated her restraining order during a surprise visit to the home. Needless to say, things escalated quickly, and the police were called to de-escalate the situation. According to the Daily Mail, Denise is asking for permission to go into the home and retrieve numerous personal belongings.
She claims she initially left her items behind because Aaron told her his family would return to Canada, which never happened. Instead, the house has reportedly fallen into disrepair, leaving Denise deeply concerned for her pets and property.
Sources close to the RHOBH cast member say that Denise wants to end this marriage and move on with her life. However, Aaron Phypers isn’t going to let that happen so easily. Phypers is currently unemployed and demanding a ton of spousal support per month from Denise.
Aaron has allegedly been sharing the home with his elderly parents and brother. What was supposed to be a temporary stay has stretched into more than three years. This has forced Denise to juggle three separate households to accommodate herself, her daughters, and her work commitments.
Aaron Phypers Demands Big Bucks From Denise Richards
Meanwhile, the landlord has been coming after Richards, chasing unpaid rent, and warned that formal eviction proceedings would begin later this month. This celebrity divorce continues to build, and at the rate it is going, it is going to be one for the Hollywood history books.
“She stopped paying rent because he’s trash and she shouldn’t be supporting him or his family anymore, as they are all able to get jobs. As easy as that,” one fan comments.
“He is a full-fledged squatter. How do you get away with not paying rent for three years?” questions another. “DR, please do not get married again.“
Aaron Phypers initially filed for divorce in July, seeking $105,000 per month in spousal support. Denise, on the other hand, isn’t backing down. She is pushing for him to cover her legal fees, attend a year-long intervention program, and take responsibility for costs tied to alleged abuse claims.
Phypers is going to extremes to get everyone to turn on Denise. He’s reached out to Denise’s family and friends, accusing her of substance abuse and neglect. But Richards is countering with allegations of physical abuse and threats.
This is turning into just the juicy drama that Bravo bigwigs love for their RHOBH‘s reality series. Which, coincidentally, Richards has recently returned to.
