Charlie Sheen‘s exes are very comfortable around each other. Denise Richards was recently spotted enjoying an outdoor dining situation with her daughters and some very special guests. The Starship Troopers actress and her kids were joined by Brooke Mueller and one of her two twin sons.
Denise shares Lola, 19, and Sami, 20, with Sheen. The girls are slated to play a big role in the new family reality series. Denise is also mom to her daughter Eloise, 12, whom she raises with her husband Aaron Phyper. Brooke shares twins Max and Bob, 15, with Sheen.
Brooke and Max were happy to join the family for a picnic in Malibu, as seen by Page Six. Cameras were viewed at the get-together. They were likely filming for Denise and her family’s new reality show, Denise Richards and the Wild Things.
While Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards’ daughters are all grown up, they’re no strangers to their little brothers. Brooke Mueller and Denise have reportedly always stayed on good terms and allowed the siblings time together.
Charlie and Denise’s coparenting hasn’t always been a walk in the park. The actress acknowledged that things had been going more smoothly in the six years since the Major League actor was sober.
As for Brooke and Charlie, parenting the twins together has had its ups and downs, as both have struggled with substance abuse. Last year, Charlie filed for joint physical and legal custody of the boys, but with some stipulations. Charlie asked the courts that he be given sole custody if Brooke fails any drug testing, which she frequently undergoes as part of the agreement. Both parties agreed to the terms, most recently updated in January 2024.
However twisted the road that led them there, it seems like all members of this blended family are happy. There seems to be more peace than ever between everyone. Both Denise and Brooke claim that peace allows their kids to flourish. Surely, that’s all that anyone in the situation hoped for.
