This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

It’s not often that Bungie pushes out patch notes for a Destiny 2 update without actually including the main point of the update, but this week, that’s precisely what they did. In the Update 7.3.4.2 patch notes we hear about all sorts of minor fixes to the gameplay and investment of Destiny 2, including changes to weapons, abilities, and some Season of the Wish stuff. However, what we don’t get to see is anything about the new collaboration going on in-game with Mass Effect. You’d think that would be a big enough thing to shove into the patch notes, but they must have forgotten to mention it.

Despite the minor changes being made in the patch notes for Destiny 2‘s Update 7.3.4.2, Bungie has neglected to include the main focus of the update altogether. This week’s update was about the Destiny 2 x Mass Effect collaboration that was added this morning. To add in any information Bungie forgot to give us, the Mass Effect collaboration went live today and is now partially free for all players. We won’t have to spend any Silver to purchase everything included in the collaboration. However, you will still have to purchase some of the items, like the armor.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
