The Found in the Dark quest in Destiny 2: The Final Shape helps to teach you about the potential synergies between the Light and Darkness, and how well they can work together if you use them in certain ways. However, for this quest specifically, we’ll be focusing on Darkness and how it can benefit your build. That’s not all this quest is great for though, it plays a big part in the completion of other quests and even getting you the new Ergo Sum Exotic Special Sword as well, so let’s take a look at how to complete Found in the Dark.
Step 1
Ghost says your actions have caused paracausal ripples through the Pale Heart. He thinks these ripples may manifest in a wellspring of power in the cave in the Seclusion.
- Find a manifestation of Darkness in the cave in the Seclusion.
- Synergize Darkness.
Step 2
Help Caiatl investigate Shadow Legion activity in the Transgression.
- Investigate Shadow Legion activity in the Transgression.
- Complete the “Home, Part I” activity.
Step 3
Your conflict with the Shadow Legion has woken a connection to the Darkness within you. Return to the cave in the Seclusion.
- Return to the cave in the Seclusion and commune with the Darkness.
- Synergize Darkness.
Step 4
Join Caiatl and Zavala in Destroying the Shadow Legion mining operations in the Divide.
- Destroy Shadow Legion mining operations in the Divide.
- Complete the “Home, Part II” mission.
Step 5
This time, the ripple of paracausal force is so strong that you can feel its pull like a gravity well. Return to the cave in the Seclusion.
- Paracausal ripples have unearthed a manifestation of Darkness. Return to the cave in the Seclusion.
- Synergize Darkness.
