As we near the end of the Season of the Wish in Destiny 2, the season finale appears in the form of the Veiled Threats quest. You might have noticed that just before the update, we learned that “Veiled Threats” would emerge on reset, and to say they have is a bit of an understatement. The Veiled Threats quest takes us back into the Black Garden, where quite recently, we completed the Starcrossed Exotic mission, to search for the Black Heart. However, what we find is pretty startling. Let’s take a look at how to complete the Veiled Threats quest in Destiny 2.

The Veiled Threats quest in Destiny 2 only consists of three different steps, but they’re eye-opening and challenging.

Step One

Step 1

Travel to the Black Garden and clear out whatever is interfering with the Veil.

  • Speak with Osiris via the holoprojector in the H.E.L.M.
    • You can find the holoprojector through the East stairway in the H.E.L.M. Head down the stairs, and into the room with the holoprojector and the portal into Riven’s Lair.
    • Upon speaking with Osiris, you’ll get another version of the Veiled Threats mission, as well as gain information on the situation at hand.

Return to the Black Garden to stop the Witness’s forces from interfering with out efforts to reach Schism.

  • Complete the “Closer to the Heart” mission
    • You can access the “Closer to the Heart” mission by heading into your Destinations tab, then viewing the H.E.L.M. node, or you can simply launch the mission directly from your quest log.
    • In the H.E.L.M. node, you’ll find the “Closer to the Heart” mission right next to “The Coil.”

Step Three

Step 3

Having once more dealt with the Black Heart, it’s time to return to Osiris and inform him of your success.

  • Debrief with Osiris
    • Report to Osiris via the holoprojector in the H.E.L.M.
    • To find the holoprojector, head into the H.E.L.M., then go down the stairs to the East of the entrance. From there, head into the next room and speak with Osiris.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
