We haven’t seen any new vehicle types in Destiny 2 since, well… ever. That said, the addition of the new Skimmer vehicle type is truly massive, considering we’re nearing the end of our journey as a Guardian. Nevertheless, the Skimmer is finally available for us to obtain, ride around, and “grind those space rails,” as Bungie likes to say. Getting your hands on it is pretty simple, and keeping it permanently after the Guardian Games has departed is entirely doable as well. Get ready to spend some serious time in the Games in Destiny 2 as we learn how to get the Allstar Vector Skimmer.

To begin with, you can grab the Allstar Vector Skimmer from Eva Levante in the Tower while the Guardian Games is active. After you speak with her, you’ll need to complete the onboarding quest, then you can pick it up for the duration of the event.

However, unless you do some work for Space Grandma, there’s a good chance you won’t be keeping that Skimmer after the Guardian Games have departed. So, let’s take a look at how to get the new Skimmer vehicle to keep permanently.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
