We’ve seen it for days; now we can get it.

Every time a new Dungeon is released in Destiny 2, we already know we’ll get an awesome armor set to go along with it. During the Season of the Wish, we got both the Warlord’s Ruin Dungeon and the Dark Age Armor Set. It’s not a secret that you need to work your way through the dungeon to get the dungeon armor, but you might not need to put that much time into it. Oftentimes, you only need to complete certain encounters rather than the entire dungeon, so let’s see what, exactly, you need to do.

In order to get the armor, you’ll need to complete all the encounters within the Warlord’s Ruin Dungeon. That is mostly because each encounter has a chance to drop different items.

  • Rathil, First broken Knight of Fikrul
    • Has a chance to drop the Dark Age Helmet
    • Has a chance to drop the Dark Age Gauntlets
  • Locus of Wailing Grief
    • Has a chance to drop the Dark Age Chest Armor
    • Has a chance to drop the Dark Age Gauntlets
  • Hefnd’s Vengeance
    • Has a chance to drop any piece of the Dark Age Armor Set

The entire armor set is definitely tuned into the whole “winter” vibe that the Warlord’s Ruin Dungeon gives off, featuring climbing gear, warm fabrics, and loads of fur. Given the timing, the whole set seems to coincide with the Destiny 2 x The Witcher collaboration that’s happening at the time of the Dungeon’s release, but it’s not quite the Kaer Morhen armor, unfortunately. Though, it’s still a lovely armor set nonetheless, and fully capable of showing off your capabilities as a Guardian.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
