Welcome to the latest Destiny 2 Season, titled Season of the Deep. Into the Depths Quest is the seasonal quest that will run through the entire season. We will guide you through the ocean of methane as you try to solve the latest mysteries in Destiny 2. The Lightfall campaign ended in a disastrous fashion, and now a distress call comes from the long-lost Deputy Commander Sloane as she asks the help on Saturn’s moon, Titan. This guide shares the Into the Depths Quest steps from one to seven in Destiny 2.

Destiny 2: How to Start the Into the Depths Quest

You will automatically launch the questline once you finish the initial quest called Beneath the Waves. You will receive the seasonal artifact, which is an excellent addition to your inventory.

Step 1. Once you have gotten the artifact, what you need to do is interact with the HELM terminal and talk with the Drifter.

Step 2. This will grant you the first step, called Salvage. This is the new seasonal activity and needs six Guardians exploring the Titan and edging out a boss. Once this is done, continue to Step 3.

Step 3. The third step of Into the Depths is the mission “Operation Thunderbolt”, and perhaps the most complicated one. Access the mission through the Destination tab in the HELM. You will spawn in the area where you met Sloane for the first time. You will get to choose from two Asha gifts. One is Precision damage, and the second is Kinetic damage. Choose one depending on your current loadout. Follow the path through the methane-filled hole and work your way through the rooms until you reach the boss you need to kill. Once the enemy is eliminated, you will need to pick up some Eregore Coral. This will spawn the clam reward chest. Open it and claim your hard-earned goodies.

Step 4. The next Into the Depths step tasks you to bring the Coral to Sloane in the Helm.

Step 5. The next step of the Into the Depths quest is to talk with Sloane through the holoprojector in the HELM.

Step 6. Now, all you need to do is to claim the ‘Deep Challenger’ Seasonal Challenge’.

Step 7. Into the Depths step 7 involves Vanguard informing you that Sloane and Asha are ready to boost their bond once more.
