Destiny 2 Weekly Reset Guide: Challenges, Rotations, & Rewards (July 8

A couple of times a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, Destiny 2 does its weekly reset, bringing new things to do in Sol. Whether it’s Xur’s stock, what Nightfall we’ll be up against, or even what Adept weapons we have the chance of getting our hands on, it’s always great to stay up to date with the latest rotations, rewards, and challenges. Let’s take a look at what’s going on in Destiny 2 this week.

Nightfall Modifiers & Adept Weapon

Nightfall Strike – Heist Battleground: Mars
Advanced Modifiers
- Self Buildcrafting
  - Overcharged Weapons – Kinetic weapons do increased damage when your Super element matches an active surge.
  - Overcharged Machine Gun – 25% bonus to Machine Gun damage
  - Void Surge – 25% bonus to outgoing Void damage.
  - Increased Vanguard Rank – All Vanguard Rank point gains are increased!
  - Double Nightfall Drops – All Vanguard Rank point gains are increased!
- Combatant Buildcrafting
  - Champion Foes – You will face Overload and Unstoppable Champions.
  - Solar Threat: 25% increase to incoming Solar damage.
- Combat Adjustments
  - Shielded Foes
  - Extra Shields
  - Galvanized
  - Fire Pit: When defeated, Acolytes spawn fire pools that cause damage over time.

  - Togetherness: Base health regen is reduced. If near another player, health regen is increased.

  - Extinguish – If your fireteam falls in a Restricted Zone, everyone is returned to orbit.
  - Limited Revives – Limited fireteam revives. Gain additional revives by defeating Champions.

  - Join In Progress Disabled
  - Extra Champions
  - Locked Loadout
  - Extra Shields
  - Chaff – Radar is disabled.
