Since the Season of the Wish is now here and in full swing, it’s time to work our way through the main season quest, Destiny 2‘s Wishing All the Best. The quest is quite long, featuring over 50 steps total. Each week, some new steps will open up for us to complete until we’ve reached the end. The Wishing All the Best quest will gracefully lead us through this season’s story, telling us everything we need to know leading up to The Final Shape.
Wishing All the Best: Season of the Wish Week 1 Quest Steps
The entirety of Wishing All the Best will take several weeks to complete. Buckle up, Guardian. We start now.
Wishing All the Best: Step One
Step One of Wishing All the Best takes you into the H.E.L.M. where you must speak to Riven in Spirit’s Anchor. You can access Spirit’s Anchor by heading down the steps on the right-hand side of the H.E.L.M., then traveling through the portal.
- Speak to Riven to learn the location of her last clutch of eggs
- Speak to Riven
Riven will speak to you with her true voice, a sign of trust. She will tell you that Savathun’s Wish is the last she will grant.
Step Two
Riven believes she knows the location of her eggs. Enter Riven’s Lair and retrieve them.
- Search for Riven’s eggs in Riven’s Lair
- Complete “Riven’s Lair”
Wishing All the Best: Step Three
At this point, Petra will be ready to let you know what the Techeuns’ found, and speak with you. Head into the H.E.L.M. and down the stairway to the right. There, you will find the holoprojector, along with Petra’s message.
- Speak with Pertra at the holoprojector
- Visit the holoprojector
Step Four
After speaking with Petra at the holoprojector, it’s time to move the Ley Lines into position in the Dreaming City. You can do this by completing the Blind Well activity.
- Complete the Blind Well runs in the Dreaming City.
- Higher-tier completions reward additional progress
You should only have to complete 2 – 3 Blind Well runs in order to complete the fourth step in the Wishing All the Best quest.
Wishing All the Best: Step Five
Step five of the Wishing All the Best quest takes us into Riven’s Lair once again to recover an egg.
- With the Ley Lines in position, enter Riven’s Lair to recover an egg
- Complete the mission “Polysemy” and retrieve Riven’s egg.
During the mission, you will be fighting huge amounts of vex enemies, complete with an extrememly difficult at the end. However, once you defeat the boss, you can collect the Ahamkara egg.
Step Six
Mara, still reluctant to trust Riven, seeks alternative solutions from Osiris.
- Listen to Mara and Osiris in the H.E.L.M.
- Observe the conversation of Mara and Osiris
Head down the stairs on the right-hand side of the H.E.L.M. to observe the conversation.
Wishing All the Best: Step Seven
You have acquired the first Ahamkara egg, but there is still more to accomplish.
- Speak to Riven
- Visit Riven in the H.E.L.M.
You can visit Riven by heading down the stairs on the right-hand side of the H.E.L.M. then go through the portal.
Step 8
Mara Sov will call upon you once the Techeuna have calculated the location of another Ahamkaraegg. Until then, continue to defend Riven’s Lair against trespassers.

The second week of the Wishing All the Best quest starts us right out at Step 9.

Riven eagerly awaits your arrive, so that she can deliver some good news.
- Speak to Riven.
You can find Riven within the H.E.L.M..
Step 10
Delve back into Riven’s Lair and retrieve a second egg.
- Complete Tautology.
The Tautology mission can be found within the Riven’s Lair seasonal activity.
Wishing All the Best: Step 11
Before any more eggs can be retrieved, Petra has a task for you.
- Speak with Petra at the holoprojector
You can find the holoprojector within the H.E.L.M..
Step 12
The Techeuns require a Starlight Lodestone, acquired from within the Chamber of Starlight.
- Complete the Chamber of Starlight Lost Sector
You can find the Chamber of Starlight Lost Sector in the Dreaming City.

Crow and Petra are grappling with the current situation.
- Observe Crow and Petra’s discussion in the H.E.L.M..
Step 14
Orisis had an update on his investigations of the Veil.
- Visit the holoprojector to speak with Osiris in the H.E.L.M..

Riven wishes to discuss your progress.
- Speak to Rive in the H.E.L.M..
Step 16
Mara Sov will call upon you once the Techeuns have calculated the location of another Ahamkara egg.

Week 3 of the Wishing All the Best questline begins at step 17.

Riven has another lead for you.
- Speak to Riven in the H.E.L.M..
Step 18
Delve into The Coil to finish preparing the Starlight Lodestone.
- Calibrate the Starlight Lodestone.
- Calibrate the Starlight Lodestone by completing pathways and collecting Wishing Glass Shards as a fireteam in The Coil.
- Fing Wishing Glass Shards by defeating combatants, destroying pots, and opening hidden chests.
Wishing All the Best: Step 19
With the Lodestone attuned, Petra has an additional task for you.
- Speak with Petra at the holoprojector in the H.E.L.M..
Step 20
Petra has sent you to the Spine of Keres, where the Oracle Engine awaits.
- Complete “The Oracle Engine” mission in the Spire of Keres to facilitate communion with the Harbinger.
Wishing All the Best: Step 21
Mara’s Harbinger is guiding the clutch within reach. Now is your opportunity to save another of Riven’s eggs.
- Complete the “Enthymeme” mission and collect Riven’s egg.
Step 22
Riven’s appearance must be challenging for Crow. He and Mara need a chance to talk things out.
- Observe the exchange between Mara and Crow in the H.E.L.M..

Osiris has an update to give on his investigations into the Veil.
- Speak with Osiris at the holoprojector in the H.E.L.M..
Step 24
Riven has her own perspective on the Sov siblings.

Step 25
Mara Sov will call upon you once the Techeuns have calculated the location of another Ahamkara egg.

Week four of the Wishing All the Best questline starts at Step 26.

Riven has another lead for you.
- Speak to Riven in the H.E.L.M..
Step 27
Another egg is making an approach. It’s time to enter Riven’s Lair and bring it home.
- Complete the Apophasis mission in Riven’s Lair.
Wishing All the Best: Step 28
The Vex stole away the egg before it could be secured, but Crow thinks he’s got a lead on where they’ve brought it.
- Speak with Crow in the H.E.L.M..
Step 29
Crow’s tracked the egg to the Black Garden. Crow’s been there before, and he’ll serve as a guide for the journey.
- Complete the Stacrossed Exotic mission.
Wishing All the Best: Step 30
Riven has been reminded of Taranis, and of the risks of an Ahamkara granting their own wish.
- Visit Riven in the H.E.L.M..
Step 31
Mara’s Techeuns continue to calculate the trajectory of Riven’s clutch as they move between realities. Buy them time by continuing to defend Riven’s Lair against incursions.

We begin week 5 of the Wishing All the Best questline at Step 32.

Riven summons you back to her side on an urgent matter.
- Speak to Riven in the H.E.L.M..
Step 33
Taken corruption is seeping into the Confluence from a breach in Eleusinia.
- Complete the mission “Synchysis”
Wishing All the Best: Step 34
The egg has been corrupted, but Mara has an idea for how it might be cleansed.
- Speak with Mara Sov in the H.E.L.M..
Step 35
Mara directs you to the Ascendant Plane to find a coalescence of Taken essentia, which could be used to cleanse the egg.
- Completed an Ascendant Challenge
- You must be an AScendant to see and enter the Ascendant Challenge portal. Consume a Ticture of Queensfoil to become Ascendant for 30 minutes. Petra Venj keeps a stock of Tinctured on hand for situations like these.
Wishing All the Best: Step 36
With the Taken essentia in hand, it’s time to return to Petra.
- Speak with Petra at the holoprojector in the H.E.L.M..
Step 37
Enter Riven’s Lair to gather paracausal energy to cleanse the egg.
- Complete pathways in Riven’s Lair or The Coil to cleanse the egg.

Riven, Mara, and Osiris are discussing the path to the Witness. It would be good to listen in.
- Conversation with Riven observed
- When theories change, plans must change with them. Riven is about to discuss one such change with Mara and Osiris.
Step 39
Osiris has an update on his research into the Witness that he is eager to share.
- Speak with Osiris at the holoprojector in the H.E.L.M..

Riven is ready to admit some reluctant gratitude.
- Speak to Riven in the H.E.L.M..
Step 41
Mara Sov will call upon you once the Techeuns have calculated the location of another Ahamkara egg. Until then, continue to defend Riven’s Lair against trespassers.
Wishing All the Best: Season of the Wish Week 6 Quest Steps
Week 6 of the Wishing All the Best Seasonal quest in Destiny 2 begins at quest step 42.

The final egg has been located, but it can’t be reached without preparation.
- Speak to Riven in the H.E.L.M..
Step 43
Only one person can go through the portal to the Witness. But Crow’s got an idea on how to handle that, if you’re willing to listen.
- Speak with Crow in the H.E.L.M..
Wishing All the Best: Step 44
The final egg lies in a part of the Confluence that can be reached only through the Oracle Engine, which is currently blockaded by the Vex. You’ll need to take them down and restart the Engine.
Speak with Petra at the holoprojector in the H.E.L.M..
Step 45
Before you can make an offering to the Oracle Engine and access the final egg, you’ll have to bring it back into operational condition. Destroy the Vex Oracles blocking access Oracle Engine.
- Defeat combatants and destroy Vex Oracles in the Spine of Keres, Harbinger’s Seclude, and Gardens of Esila.
- Restore Spine of Keres, Harbinger’s Seclude, and Gardens of Esila.
Wishing All the Best: Step 46
Receive an offering to the Oracle from the Blind Well to gain access to MAra’s throne room and the final egg.
- Complete Blind Well runs in the Dreaming City. Higher-tier completions reward additional progress.
Step 47
The Spine of Keres holds a portal to the Queen’s throne room. Meet with Mara there and discuss the final egg.
- Visit Mara’s throne.

Crow’s ready to share his plan, but Mara and Osiris have something to say about it.
- Crow has a plan. Visit the H.E.L.M. to hear what Mara and Osiris have to say about that.
Step 49
Riven has her own thoughts on Crow and Mara to share.

Week 7 of the Wishing All the Best questline spans from steps 51 – 55.
Step 51
It is time to recover the final egg. Speak to Riven via the portal in the H.E.L.M..

Wishing All the Best: Step 52
The bargain you have struck with the Spirit of riven nears completion. Venture into the heart of the Confluence and retrieve the last of the Ahamkara eggs.
- Complete the mission “Chiasmus” and retrieve the final egg.
Step 53
With the entire clutch now safely secured, the plan can proceed. Crow has parting words for you.
- Speak with Crow in the H.E.L.M.
Wishing All the Best: Step 54
All your efforts have led you here. Use the Wall of Wishes to set the wish into motion.
- Go to the Wall of Wishes to make the Fifteenth Wish.
Step 55
The wish is made, Riven is no more, and Crow has begun his journey into the unknown. Mara Sov wants to speak with you about all that has transpired.
