Destiny: The Taken King has been a huge success story for Bungie, but did you know that the classic 90’s band, The Backstreet Boys, make a small cameo in the game?
Okay… I may be bending the truth slightly but a passionate group of players have recreated the hit single, ‘Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)’ in the game world with their own unique twist.
Posted on Reddit by the user ‘madmoneylove’, a video on YouTube shows a guardian stumbling across a bizarre scene on Venus.
Check out the video below and get your cheesy boy band nostalgia flowing.

You have to applaud the players for their creativity and their song choice!
Destiny has seen new life since the Year 2 patch has been active. Previous complaints of the series such as the poor leveling system and random loot drops have all been revised, which has been well received my fans. A couple of weeks ago an exotic weapon, The Black Spindle, was available to all players for one day only. They had to take a hidden route on ‘Lost To Light’ and had 10 minutes to defeat waves of enemies followed by an extremely tough boss. All three players taking part were rewarded with the sniper rifle which demonstrates how Destiny’s weapon drops have improved.
Peter Dinklage, the voice of your ghost companion, was controversially replaced, by veteran voice actor Nolan North, in the new update. When Destiny launched, there was dismay among players about the underdeveloped story and the lackluster delivery of Dinklage’s lines. Bungie denied this was the reason for replacing him, instead citing his busy schedule;
“Dinklage was awesome to work with on Destiny One but we just needed to work with someone who is more available. Nolan–he’s a pro; this is his thing.”
Destiny currently has over 20 million players and the game is available on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
