Diablo 3 Darkening of Tristram 2023 Event
The annual “Darkening of Tristram” event in Diablo 3 has again started, with cultists appearing on December 31. The portals to the old world of the original Diablo game opened on January 3 and will remain open until January 31.
To experience the event, players must start a game in Adventure Mode and head to the Old Tristram waypoint. From there, they can enter the “Tristram” portal to be transported to the iconic cathedral.
The event offers several cosmetic rewards, including the Butcher pet, Royal Calf pet, Butcher’s Cleaver weapon transmog, Wirt’s Leg weapon transmog, Classic Angel Portrait, Classic Demon Portrait, and Dungeon completion banner. Most of these rewards can be obtained by completing all 16 levels of the event, except the Butcher pet, which requires the player to clear all 16 levels in one go with a new character.

With challenging encounters, exclusive rewards, and special activities, there’s never been a better time to play Diablo 3.
