If you can’t wait to play the closed beta of Diablo 4, you won’t have to. The test period is about to start, provided you pre-ordered the game. That is the only way to get access to the closed beta period. With only a few days to experience the game for now and a limited number of available classes, we all know that choosing one can be hard. Don’t worry about it, because today we’ll tell you what are the best classes for the closed beta of Diablo 4. Keep in mind that all of them can bring good things to any encounter, but some are better at mowing down enemies than others. So, without further ado, let’s see which is best for you.

Best Classes for the Closed Beta of Diablo 4

Before we delve deep into all the classes, we need to remind players that there’ll be limits during the closed beta. From the 5 classes, you’ll only be able to pick 3. These are the Rogue, Sorcerer, and Barbarian. Each one has its own strengths, and you might find a playstyle that you enjoy more than the other. Let’s break down the best classes of Diablo 4 for the closed beta.

Rogue – S Tier

It is only normal for the new class of the game to make it to the top tier. The Rogue brings a lot of things to the game making it a versatile class capable of dealing huge amounts of damage. You can even imbue your weapons with certain elements and excel at both ranged and melee combat.

Barbarian – S Tier

The Barbarian class is a powerhouse in the game. You can try a lot of weapons with this class, as it offers many slots for you to mix and match. While it can be a slow class for some, it hits like a truck and will work as a tank if doing group content.

Sorcerer – A Tier

As always, mage classes tend to be glass cannons. While it is one of the best classes for the closed beta of Diablo 4, it is still great. It might require a bit more work, but the payoff is fantastic. You can wield three elements to do crazy amounts of damage and even set an ability to have it activate passively.

While two of the three classes rank higher, that doesn’t mean Sorcerer is bad. It might just be a bit harder to play if you’re a new player but don’t let that deter you. In the end, you can choose whichever of the classes you want for the closed beta of Diablo 4 and find the one you enjoy the most. The next two classes will become available during the open beta test, so stay tuned for that.
