The rumors of Diablo 4 coming to Nintendo Switch and Xbox Game Pass have been circulating for some time now. While Blizzard Entertainment has yet to officially confirm the news, the possibility of the popular action RPG making its way to the console and subscription service is certainly exciting.
Diablo 4 x Nintendo Switch and Xbox Game Pass
If Diablo 4 does make its way to the Nintendo Switch, it would be the first time the game has been available on a Nintendo console. It would also be the first time a Blizzard game has been available on a Nintendo console since 2003, when Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos was released on the GameCube.
On the other hand, players had thought that the game would become available on Game Pass following Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard. However, the deal is currently under review by the FTC, and therefore, the future course of action for both companies remains uncertain. If the deal does get approved, Blizzard’s games will likely be added to Game Pass, but it is unclear how long the lawsuit will take or whether it will ultimately be approved.
It remains to be seen if Diablo 4 will make its way to the Nintendo Switch and Xbox Game Pass. However, the rumors are certainly intriguing, and it would be a great addition to the console and subscription service. The action RPG fans will eagerly await an official announcement from Blizzard Entertainment.
The Early Access Open Beta begins on March 17 at 9 AM PST and concludes on March 20 at 12 PM PST. The regular Open Beta will start on March 24 at 9 PM PST and end on March 27 at 12 PM PST.
