The long-awaited BlizzCon 2023 brought many changes to all the Blizzard gaming universes, and the ominous world of Sanctuary is no exception. Those players who missed the first season of Diablo 4 can get a piece of something Malignant in the form of powerful class rings. Each ring exists to reveal and enhance the abilities of each of the five character classes, but more importantly, they will remain in the game world forever. To receive Malignant Rings, you must reach at least World Tier 3 and participate in various gaming activities. But as with unique and uber unique items, the best source of valuable equipment is specific late-game bosses.
All Ways To Get Malignant Rings in Diablo 4
As we said earlier, the first requirement you will have to fulfill is to reach at least World Tier 3. However, once you do, you can get Malignant Rings in Diablo 4 in two ways:
- Firstly, you can rely on luck and find these items as a random drop.
- Secondly, you can increase your chances of success by challenging Echo of Varshan on World Tier 3 or 4.
The first method is based on luck and does not require preparation. You can fight World Bosses, open Helltide Chests, or complete Nightmare Dungeons, and all of these activities have a chance to reward you with one of the Malignant Rings. The dark side of this method is the negligible chance of success. Rings are extremely rare rewards, and there are no ways to increase your luck. Just try, and sooner or later, you may get lucky.
On the other hand, you can specifically look for this item by killing Echo of Varshan, one of the five Uber Bosses in the late game. Just as you can farm Uber Unique items with Duriel, King of Maggots, Echo of Varshan has an increased chance of dropping one of five Malignant Rings. You can find it in Malignant Burrow northeast of Hawezar, near the Tree of Whispers on World Tier 3 and 4.
Killing a boss on World Tier 4 has a higher chance of dropping the desired item. But the condition for such a battle is a larger number of required summoning ingredients. More specifically, here’s what you need to spawn Echo of Varshan on World Tier 3 and 4.
Echo of Varshan – World Tier 3
- Gurgling Head
- Blackened Femur
- Trembling Hand
Echo of Varshan – World Tier 4
- Gurgling Head
- Blackened Femur
- Trembling Hand
- Malignant Heart
