Season of Blood brings a lot of new content to Diablo 4, such as new aspects and gears. But one of the most important parts of the season is the Vampiric Powers, which you can use to slice your enemies even faster. However, for these powers to be active, you must learn how to use Pacts in Diablo 4 Season 2. Of course, the game explains a little how to do this, but as with other abilities, they can be a little confusing.

Pacts are one of the key parts of Diablo 4 Season 2. They can give you access to various Vampiric powers that can affect your skills or give you additional abilities. But to use them, you first need to understand how Pacts work. There are a total of them:

  • Ferocity
  • Divinity
  • Eternity

Diablo 4 Season 2 Pacts are a new gear stat. Therefore, when you find new equipment, you can find up to 5 Pacts on them, depending on the World Tier. And equipping a gear, you activate the Pacts as “tokens.”

Each ability requires a certain number of tokens. It can be one Ferocity Pact or several Pacts of different types. And if you don’t have enough of them on your equipment, you can’t use Vampire Powers.

By opening the character screen, you can equip Powers and see how many you need and how many active Pacts you have in Diablo 4 Season 2. But since items often have random stats, Pacts are also generated randomly.

How To Change Pacts

If you don’t like the Pacts on your equipment, you can change them in Diablo 4 Season 2. To do this, you must participate in the Blood Harvest event and farm Cleansing Acid and Pacts. Acid allows you to remove Pacts from Gear. But it’s worth noting that there are several types of Cleansing Acid. Some remove certain types of Pacts, while others remove everything at once. After this, you can attach the pacts you need to the free slots. This way, you can activate Vampire Powers faster and improve your build.
