Shortly after the split announcement, the singer made a statement via an Instagram caption (via Variety). “As everyone knows, Hesam and I are no longer together … 6 years is a long time to be with someone so, I’m a little shocked but … I’m not here to explain why because its honestly nobody’s business!!!,” she wrote.
But what made this once-in-love couple end their relationship? We cannot confirm this, a new report seemingly gives insight into their marriage. Although the statements are alleged.
“Unfortunately, when she was free of her conservatorship, Sam got the worst of it. One of the last straws for Sam, there were many, Britney chased him with an axe,” an insider told InTouch Weekly of the alleged incident. “It was during one of their epic fights, and Sam couldn’t control her or talk her down. Sam is not a confrontational person, and he doesn’t like arguing. There was nothing he could do to calm her down this time.”
Although the source does not offer more information about what the former couple allegedly fought about, they do claim that the fight was a catalyst for their divorce by referring to it as one of his “last straws.” Asghari reportedly had to “leave” their shared home.
