Sean Diddy Combs‘ dark side continues to be exposed. While the disgraced music mogul’s legal troubles continue to mount. New details reveal that the rapper may be more dangerous than initially believed. Radar Online reports that a journalist from Diddy’s past is coming forward with new jaw-dropping claims. She states Combs threatened her life over some magazine photos. Former Vibe editor-in-chief Danyel Smith details her horrifying encounter in the upcoming docuseries The Fall of Diddy.
Smith recounts the frightening incident. She alleges Sean Diddy Combs threatened her life after she refused to hand over photos for a magazine story at his demand. Combs made threats in 1997.
Diddy reportedly contacted Smith demanding she hand over photos of the rapper before the Vibe’s December 1997/January 1998 double issue. Smith states that she refused Diddy’s demands, sending the rapper into a rage.
Danyel Smith states, “After the shoot, Mr. Combs wanted to see the covers before they were published. It was policy for us not to show the covers to anyone before they were published.”
After explaining her reason for denying his request, Smith said things turned dark and dangerous. She states that after denying Diddy, he threatened that he said that he would ‘see me dead in a trunk.’

Smith reveals that she was very rattled by the threats and claims and instantly called her lawyer for legal advice. “My attorney called him to say that if he didn’t immediately fax over an apology, my attorney was going to reach out to law enforcement. “It took about 90 minutes to two hours, and I received that faxed apology.“
Danyel Smith reveals that she later discovered that Sean Diddy Combs had sent some of his men to intimidate her. “I’ve only recently come to realize, through the members of the staff at that time. He had actually, in the days before, come up to the Vibe offices with two tough guys looking for me.“
This is not the only case in which Diddy has attempted to terrify someone into doing things his way. Recent reports reveal the Peacock documentary Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy reveals the shocking details behind numerous alleged crimes.
Another female victim reveals that during MTV’s Making the Band 2 from 2002 to 2004. Diddy became very angry and frustrated with her performance and threatened her. “You make me so mad I want to eat your flesh.” She also recalls another of her bandmates being threatened with violence after rolling her eyes at an agitated Combs. “I could get a crackhead and pay them $20 to smack the s**t out of you,” she reveals Diddy threatening.
Sean Diddy Combs denies Smith’s accusations. Diddy remains behind bars. He is currently awaiting his May 5 trial on charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
