Sean Diddy Combs claims he feels confident about winning his upcoming May 12 trial. But just in case things fail to go his way, he plans on calling in a favor that his close friend, President Donald Trump, allegedly owes him.
Diddy’s trial date is rapidly approaching, and after more than seven long months behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, the rapper is more than eager to be released. Combs demands he is innocent of all charges and, with the help of his legal team, plans to successfully defend all accusations.

However, Sean Diddy Combs is not naive enough to believe the plan will go off without a hitch. The odds are very much against it. So, Diddy has what he hopes is a fool-proof backup plan, should he need to use it.
Radar Online reports that Diddy is heavily relying on his close friendship with current President Donald Trump as a last resort. Hollywood Insider Rob Shuter recently revealed to Radar that inside sources tell him that Combs plans to reach out to Donald Trump for help if everything at the trial goes south.
The inside source reveals that Diddy and Trump’s friendship goes way back. The two spent a lot of time together partying over the decades. So much so that Combs is not afraid to reach out for help, should the need arise.
Donald Trump And Sean Diddy Combs’ Friendship Goes Way Back
“Donald was always invited to Diddy’s legendary parties,” the insider claimed. “They’ve known each other forever. Diddy admired Trump’s swagger – the bravado, the flash. He built part of his brand around that energy. Diddy thinks Donald owes him one. He’s counting on their history to keep him out of an orange jumpsuit.”
It is unknown why Diddy believes Donald Trump owes him a favor. But it must be a pretty huge favor, considering the amount of prison time Sean Diddy Combs could be sentenced to, should his legal team fail to prove his innocence.
It is no secret that back in the day, Donald Trump was a VIP guest at numerous Diddy parties. In the past, the now-current president allegedly never had a bad thing to say about his party pal Sean Diddy Combs.

In 2012, Donald Trump publicly praised his friendship with Sean Diddy Combs. During an episode of The Apprentice, Aubrey O’Day played the Diddy card in a plea to remain on the show.
“I love Diddy. … You know he is a good friend of mine. He’s a good guy. Is he a good guy? I think he’s a good guy, I’m going to stick up for him,“Trump stated to O’Day.
Many are curious to see just how far President Trump is willing to go to stick up for Sean Diddy Combs. That is if the rapper comes calling in on that suspicious owed favor.
Those planning to follow the rapper’s upcoming trial remain disappointed the trial will be untelevised. To keep up with the latest Sean Diddy Combs trial proceedings, ABC News has launched a new podcast show focusing solely on the trial. The Bad Rap: The Case Against Diddy podcast began on March 25 and will continue throughout the trial.
