Developer Playstark and publisher PQube Limited have announced the arrival of their rogue-lite title, Die After Sunset. After being initially announced just last year, players will soon be able to dive into the early access phase when Die After Sunset goes live on February 11, 2022. Eager buyers can expect a launch discount that’s going for $11.99!

Die After Sunset Brings Adorableness and Chaos Together Into One Good Time

Die After Sunset is a third-person action rogue-lite experience that pits the player in a colorful and changing world. Enemies will transform from cuddly friends to vicious and nightmarish foes through a day and night cycle. The main goal is to progress through all levels of Die After Sunset while continuously leveling up their gear. The game will feature multiple missions with plenty of weapons and powerups to experiment with. Eventually, you will have to come face-to-face with the powerful bosses that stand in your way.

Die After Sunset Coming to Steam Early Access on February 11, 2022 from developer Playstark

At launch, players will have the choice to pick between two heroes: April and Rido! April utilizes time-traveling abilities and pistols to conquer the battlefield, while Rido carries submachine guns to exercise his will to survive. The game’s rogue-lite aesthetic gives the heroes chances to revisit failures with better equipment and mindset.

More characters, enemies, levels, and more will be added within the next few months during the Steam Early Access run for Die After Sunset. With three announced updates to come, there’s a lot to expect as Playstark intends on releasing new content monthly until May, when the final boss steps into the spotlight with a new level.

Die After Sunset is ready for its Steam Early Access phase, and it will launch on February 11, 2022. You can visit the game’s Steam page now to stay updated with upcoming content.
