DiRT Rally is coming to consoles in the next few months, and today Codemasters, the developer of the game, celebrated that by releasing a new trailer for the game.
The trailer showcases a ton of content that will be available. This includes the Steam Early Access content. DiRT Rally will also have a significant amount of new content for PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game, including the new Classic Mini and Super 1600 Rallycross series (available from the start of the game), 21 advanced rally driving video guides, a Pikes Peak course with gravel surface, three of legendary driver Colin McRae’s iconic liveries, and seven new cars to drive:
- Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak
- Renault 5 Turbo
- Renault Alpine A110
- Opel Corsa Super 1600
- Peugeot 207 S1600
- Renault Clio S1600
- Mini Classic Rallycross

Pre-ordering DiRT Rally will get you even more content – a full-length feature documentary about Colin McRae and a MINI pack that unlocks and completely upgrades the MINI Cooper S. Pre-ordering the digital edition will also give you the Rallycross Pack, unlocking the Mini Classic Rallycross.
The developer is planning on 1080p/60fps for the game on both consoles. However, recent reports from the game director say that the Xbox One version may have to dial back to 900p for some of the most demanding parts of DiRT Rally. In another interview, Coleman told Eurogamer, “I don’t want to blanket say that Xbox One is 900 – we’re trying to refine this, and there’re a few more optimizations we can do along the way. The key thing is getting that 60 frames – a simulation like DiRT Rally works best when that frame-rate is consistent and steady.”
DiRT Rally will be available on April 5 for Xbox One and PS4. It is also currently available on Steam for $59.99.
