Some people complain about downloadable content. They feel that when you buy a game, you should get all the content with your purchase. That you shouldn’t have to pay additional charges to get that content. Of course, this view does overlook several factors. Like the fact that DLC does allow for content that was cut from the production process to see the light of day.
However, the one thing that everyone can agree on is that digital distribution made DLC workable. At least you don’t have to go out and buy a physical object with the new content on. And then someone decided that you should have to. Which brings us neatly onto Disney Infinity and its new playset; Twilight of the Republic.
As the title suggests, Twilight of the Republic is set during the Clone Wars and gives players access to characters like Darth Maul, Obi Wan, Anakin, Asokha and Yoda.
But that’s only the beginning of the Star Wars content for Infinity. In addition to Twilight of the Republic, players will also soon be able to enjoy content from The Force Awakens. Daisy Ridley and John Boyega have announced that they will be voicing their characters for the game.
Along with the ‘Rise Against the Empire’ playset, Disney Infinity will be covering all three trilogies. If you’re a Star Wars fan, it may be worth all the figures littering your house.
