Disney has released the first full-length trailer for its next animated adventure film, Strange World, which will debut in theaters on November 23, 2022. The first teaser trailer was originally released back in June of this year, and this new one comes following Disney’s presentation at the D23 Expo.
What’s New in the Latest Strange World Trailer?
Disney’s latest animated adventure film Strange World received its first full-length trailer earlier today, showcasing more of the movie’s characters and story.
Strange World will follow a family of explorers — the Clades — as they “attempt to navigate an uncharted, treacherous land alongside a motley crew that includes a mischievous blob, a three-legged dog, and a slew of ravenous creatures.”
Jake Gyllenhaal will star as the voice of Searcher Clade, a farmer who gets caught up in the exploration with his family thanks to his father, a rather famous explorer, but quickly finds he is way over his head. They will have to work together amid the dangerous and fantastic new land they find themselves in and face all the dangers and perils it presents to them.
“Travel past space and time to a place of infinite mystery. Jake Gyllenhaal (“The Guilty,” “Spider-Man: Far from Home”) lends his voice to Searcher Clade, the son of a steadfast explorer. The original action-adventure journeys deep into an uncharted and treacherous land where fantastical creatures await the legendary Clades, a family of explorers whose differences threaten to topple their latest—and by far— most crucial mission.”
The voice also includes Dennis Quaid as Searcher’s father, Jaeger; Jaboukie Young-White as his son, Ethan Clade; Gabrielle Union as Meridian Clade; and Lucy Liu as Castillo Mal. The movie will also be directed by Don Hall, co-directed by Qui Nguyen, and produced by Roy Conli.
Strange World will officially premiere in theaters on November 23rd, 2022, right in time for Thanksgiving.
