A man believed to be living in Long Beach, California, is facing intense backlash online after he posted a video in which he urged fellow liberals to closely monitor people in their neighborhoods whom they believe support President Donald Trump.
In the video, which has since circulated widely across multiple social media platforms including Facebook and X, the man said that, in his view, liberals should already know exactly who the “MAGA” supporters are in their communities so they would be prepared to “take care of” them when certain situations arise. “I know every neighbor in my condo HOA complex,” the man said in the clip. “I know everyone and I watch them closely.”
He went on to suggest that if unrest or conflict were ever to break out, people would not need to go searching elsewhere because, according to him, the individuals he was referring to are already nearby. “When [expletive] pops off, I’m not going to go out looking for someone,” he said, adding that others should be thinking the same way about their own neighborhoods.
It appears that the man’s video not only reached his target audience but also non-liberal viewers, many of whom felt the man’s remarks crossed a dangerous line.
How Netizens Are Reacting to His Message
After his video started getting reposted on various platforms, many netizens began attempting to identify him. A screenshot of what is alleged to be his Facebook profile, listing his name, marital status, and location, is currently in circulation. However, those details have not been independently verified.
Meanwhile, in the comments under reposted clips, several netizens accused the man of promoting or encouraging violence, arguing that rhetoric like his fuels fear and instability. One person wrote, “All these people should be on terror watch lists.” Another commented, “This guy needs prison time.” Others added, “We shouldn’t have to live like this,” and “Man these [expletive] are getting worse.”
As of now, there is no indication that law enforcement has taken any action related to the video.
