Sonic Frontier will not have any Chao Garden. Takashi Iizuka, the Head of Sonic Team, has directly answered this question in a Rapid-fire interview held by Game Informer. The interview gave him around 123 questions for direct answers. When asked, “Is there Chao Garden in this game?” Takashis’ immediate reply was “No.” Then the interviewer asked, “Are Chaos extinct at this point?” and Takashi Iizuka replied, “No.”
So, it is confirmed that there are no Chao Gardens or Chaos in Sonic Frontier. This may be a bummer for some fans who were hoping to see Chao Garden return in Sonic Frontier.
