Shortly after Rick and Morty‘s Justin Roiland was charged with felony domestic violence, the court declared him innocent. Following the recent development, he slammed the naysayers who doubted him.
Justin Roiland’s domestic violence charges were first filed by the Orange County District Attorney. This was in connection with his relationship with an unnamed woman. According to the filing, he was accused of felony DV, leading to an injury. Also, Roiland was charged with one count of false imprisonment by menace, violence, fraud, and/or deceit.
He pleaded not guilty the first time he was slammed with the lawsuit. Rick and Morty’s Justin Roiland had been arrested earlier and granted bail after paying $50,000. However, the case remained afloat and stirred a series of court proceedings.
Again, Roiland was ordered by the court to keep his distance from the claimant. He was also instructed not to harass the alleged victim. The protective order, which stands until later this year, led him to submit his firearms.
Earlier this year, the case resumed for a pre-trial hearing. Roiland’s attorney was confident his client would have the chance to clear his name.

Justin Roiland’s Domestic Violence Charges Dropped For Lack Of Evidence
Rick and Morty’s Justin Roiland is now a free man with no charges against him or no scheduled court hearings. The animation creator was recently cleared by the court. An Orange County District Attorney’s office official declared there was not enough evidence to carry on.
The rep by name Kimberly Edds said:
“As a result of having insufficient evidence to prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt.”
Rick and Morty’s Justin Roiland Reacts To Having His Name Cleared
Following the good news, Rick and Morty’s Justin Roiland took to Twitter to address the cancel culture. Recall that in the wake of the felony charges, he was criticized. Unfortunately, he also lost some deals. Adult Swim, where “Rick and Morty” airs, quickly dissociated itself from the star. Producers of the animated shows “Koala Man” and “Solar Opposites” dropped him from the project.
In his message, Roiland claimed he was always confident of his innocence. He felt grateful his name had been exonerated but was traumatized by its impacts. He added
“Most of all, I’m disappointed that so many people were so quick to judge without knowing the facts, based solely on the word of an embittered ex trying to bypass due process and have me ‘canceled.'”
Amid being acquitted, Rick and Morty’s Justin Roiland believes his ex succeeded partially. After spewing his regrets, the animation expert affirmed that he was back and ready to continue his legacy.
