Donald Glover has revealed that he is talking with Disney to reprise his role as Lando Calrissian another Star Wars franchise project. He commented, “We’re talking about it. That’s as much as I can say without [Lucasfilm president] Kathleen Kennedy hunting me down.” He previously played Lando in the 2018 film Solo: A Star Wars Story alongside Emilia Clarke and Alden Ehrenreich. Glover said would love to play that role again and had a fun time in the role. Despite Solo: A Star Wars Story bombing at the box office, it didn’t dampen Glover’s view of playing Lando Calrissian. Glover is not done with the Star Wars franchise just yet. Ron Howard directed the prequel film that starred Glover and said it was only fans that want a sequel. Disney has made popular Star Wars series like The Mandalorian and Obi-Wan Kenobi, so that could be the next project.
