President Donald Trump has never been shy about sharing his feelings via social media. However, sometimes things are just better left unsaid. In an extremely rude post on Trump’s social media app, Truth Social. The current President of the United States would attempt to take shots at his long-time “rival,” Taylor Swift. This is not the first time something like this has happened, either. Trump has had many things to say about the Pop Icon since her endorsement of Kamala Harris in the previous presidential election.
According to Billboard, while Donald Trump was attempting to make Taylor Swift and her fans angry, he also had a lot to say about star actress Sydney Sweeney. Sweeney has attained immense stardom due to her role in the hit television series “Euphoria.” However, a recent American Eagle advertisement has her in some hot water. Although Trump doesn’t seem to see it that way at all. However, this is coming after the rumors that Sweeney is also a registered Republican. Donald would then seemingly use this information to push his agenda that conservative women are better looking than liberal women.
Donald Trump Disses Taylor Swift Online Yet Again
“Sydney Sweeney, a registered Republican, has the ‘HOTTEST’ ad out there,” he wrote. “It’s for American Eagle, and the jeans are flying off the shelves. Go get ‘em, Sydney!” However, that is not where this stopped at all. Trump would then continue by comparing Sydney Sweeney to Taylor Swift.
The president then states that he “Hates” Swift and that she was “Booed out of the Super Bowl.” Trump would finally close his statements by claiming Swift is “No longer hot.” This, obviously, did not sit well with not only Swifties but women as a whole. “As if he isn’t the ugliest man in America,” wrote one on social media.
This message is far from the first time that Donald Trump has openly stated his hatred for Taylor Swift. However, the 14-time Grammy winner never gives him the satisfaction of a response. This one-sided beef with a pop star may not be the best look for the President of any country, let alone one as influential as the United States.
Although Taylor Swift is no threat to national security, it would seem Donald Trump will continue this crusade against the singer, even with it being as one-sided as it is. Swift has not made a public statement regarding the new comments, and most likely never will. However, her fans seem to be doing it for her.
