For the final day of the NATO Summit in Washington D.C., Biden delivered a solo news conference to assure supporters of his continued fight for a second term as president. However, in his usual manner, the world leader made a major gaffe, referencing his predecessor.
During the event termed Biden’s “big boy” press conference, the president was questioned about VP Kamala Harris. When asked if she had a better chance of knocking out Trump if she had the ticket, he answered:
“I wouldn’t have picked Vice President Trump to be vice president did I think she was not qualified to be president.”

Despite the current clamor for him to drop out due to concerns about his mental strength, Biden doubled down on his abilities. Per CNN, he vowed to “keep moving” in the race before adding:
“I think I’m the most qualified person to run for president. I beat him [Donald Trump] once and I will beat him again.”
