Donald Trump is taking aim at former President Joe Biden in brutal fashion, even as Biden faces a cancer battle. During remarks at the American Cornerstone Institute Founder’s Dinner, the president told supporters not to “feel sorry” for Biden, painting him as a lifelong “mean” and “stupid” politician. “Very angry man, Biden you know,” Trump began in his trademark off-the-cuff style. “Biden was always a mean guy, but never a smart guy. Even you go back 30 years ago, 40 years ago, he’s a stupid guy, but he was always a mean son of a bitch, you know?”
The president went further, suggesting Biden’s health struggles don’t change his opinion. “As it [is] working, not working too well for him right now, is it,” Trump continued. “So when you start feeling sorry for him, remember, he’s a bad guy. He was always a mean snob. Don’t feel sorry for him. He’s a bad guy.”
Biden’s Stage 4 Prostate Cancer Diagnosis
Earlier this year, former President Joseph R. Biden revealed through his office that he has been diagnosed with Stage 4 prostate cancer, a severe form of the disease that has already spread to his bones, a common progression in more aggressive cases.
Prostate cancer is among the most common cancers in men, with the American Cancer Society estimating that one in eight men will face the diagnosis at some point in their lives. Roughly 288,300 new cases are expected in the U.S. this year alone. The disease disproportionately affects men over 65 and is more common in Black men, according to medical data.
“While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive which allows for effective management,” Biden’s office said in May. “The President and his family are reviewing treatment options with his physicians.” Biden also took to X, sharing a photo of himself and his wife, Jill Biden, accompanied by, “Cancer touches us all. Like so many of you, Jill and I have learned that we are strongest in the broken places. Thank you for lifting us up with love and support.”
While many cases are slow-growing and treatable, later-stage diagnoses like Biden’s are often more complex and require aggressive treatment.
