Pop icon Donny Osmond‘s recent interview with Good Morning Britain forced the entertainer to correct the TV show’s host, Susanna Reid, following some misinformation regarding his career. The singer quickly disagreed with Reid’s take on the perils of child stardom and forced the singer to speak out, setting the record straight.

The Mirror reports the interview between Reid and Osmond quickly took a different tone when she changed the subject to childhood stardom and asked, Donny, 67, ‘Are we propelling people into adulthood too soon?’
Reid detailed Millie Bobby Brown’s recent drama over her age and appearance. Brown claims the media won’t let her grow up, wanting to keep her frozen in time. The conversation soon turned to the perils of being a child star. Reid then stated that many childhood stars have bad experiences while growing up in the spotlight.
“Guy Chambers said that people shouldn’t join boy bands until 18 as one suggestion to protect children. But you’re embracing of your 14-year-old self’s experience. You’ve had no experiences that relate to that,” stated Reid.
