A spring breaker’s Texas vacation takes a horrific turn after her drink gets spiked, making her sick and causing her to get into a fight. The young woman expected her trip to Houston to be a fun time partying and getting to know her friend’s cousins. However, a night out at a club turns sour when her drink “gets spiked off of two shots.”

The only thing the spring breaker remembers about being in the Texas club is “throwing up, over and over.” The next thing she recalls is leaving the club with her friend’s cousin. This is when the cousin picks a fight with her. She remembers feeling like everyone was against her, with “everybody yelling at [her] about this and that.” She describes feeling messed up, and not in a drunk way, but in a “somebody put something in [her] drink way.” The situation escalates into a full fight, with another cousin holding her back, allowing the spring breaker to be hit. She explains, “I don’t remember anything about the fight except for me getting hit right here,” referring to her black eye.

Following this, she experiences headaches, pain, and light sensitivity. This prompts her to go be checked out at the hospital. She depicts her Texas trip as a nightmare: “I did not have a good trip like I was supposed to.” Moral of the story: “Do not go out with folks that you do not know.” She explains how she felt something “in the back of her mind kept telling her to watch out for [the woman who beat her up].” Overall, she has “learned her lesson” and has no plans to go out again. It is important to remember to trust your intiution, be vigiliant, and stay safe, especially if drinking is involved.

Many Call Texas Spring Break A ‘Nightmare’

Many are offering the spring breaker support, with some calling out spring breaks in Texas as “a whole nightmare.” One commenter explains, “I have not seen a single good video about Houston spring break so far.” Another agrees, “Houston spring break is full of horror stories.” Another says, “Your story is the 100th tragic story from HTX Spring break.” One believes it’s the location: “Houston cursed fr. It’s always a story.” One comment disagrees, “It’s about doing proper research & being mindful of the company you keep.”

Others share words of wisdom, such as “never go on a trip with ppl you never met.” A lesson some feel she should already know. The spring breaker explains, “I wouldn’t think my friend’s cousins would do me like that. So I take accountability for even going out there with people I didn’t know.” Another says, “ALWAYS listen to your intuition, never ignore a warning. Side note, never trust anyone named ‘Pumpkin’.” One commenter agrees that the name was the “first red flag.” Everyone wishes the spring breaker a speedy recovery.
