DRAGON BALL: Sparking ZERO Painfully Reminds Us It Isn’t Here Yet With 50 Days Countdown Trailer

Give me energy! To wait 50 days…

Tonight’s Dragon Ball: Sparking ZERO trailer at Gamescom was painful to watch because of the fact that we’re 50 days away from getting our hands on this game. This becomes even worse when, at least, someone like myself still remembers Budokai Tenkaichi 3 as one of the best fighting games ever made. So yes, to say the wait is killing me is putting it lightly. I’m getting married this year, and the game’s release gives me equal excitement. But I digress. The fact that we’re 50 days away from the next Dragon Ball fighting game is unbelievable. After months of waiting, we’re at the home stretch.

DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO – 50 DAYS FROM NOW | ONL Trailer

With a slick new trailer, Dragon Ball: Sparking ZERO reminded us that the date is upon us. While Xenoverse 2 has been enough to satiate my need for Dragon Ball bouts, I need something more. So far, we’ve had some terrific trailers showcasing the many characters that will appear. The latest trailer focused on the legendary Cell Games with some welcome additions. Also, the previous ones revealed characters from Dragon Ball Super and many from the classic anime sagas. But if memory serves me well, there are still a few slots to fill. So, we might get a few new reveals before the fated release day.

For the new generation out there, a fighting game like this one might not be a big deal, but allow me to take you down memory lane. Budokai Tenkaichi was the best and biggest Dragon Ball game ever. It had the best roster, and it even included characters from the movies. It’s still uncertain if Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO will include them as well, so I guess all we have to do is wait 50 days to find out. You can still pre-order Sparking ZERO on your favorite platform if you haven’t already done so. And if you buy the Deluxe Edition, you’ll get a three-day early access, so that’s worth considering.
