There was talk a few days ago of a new Dragon Ball Z RPG in the development. Bandai Namco announced the trailer for there new Dragon Ball project in the Dragon Ball Z franchise at the Red Bull Final summoning Dragon Ball FighterZ tournament. All we know about this game is that the game is currently in development, and it’s being made by CyperConnect2. The name of this project has not been said yet all we know is that it is called  Dragon Ball Game Project Z. Eric Hartness from Bandai Namco Amerca had this to say about the game

Combining the fabled story of Dragon Ball Z with a proven video game development studio is a surefire way to create an awesome Dragon Ball adventure. We cant wait to unveil the official name for the game and share more gameplay with players.

The game looks like its gonna it starts at the end of orginal Dragon Ball as Goku takes on Piccolo in the martial arts world tournment. Then will continue with the adventures of Dragon Ball Z, and by the looks of it the game might end at the Frieza Saga. This feels game feels like it could be some kind of Legacy Of Goku game with it primaly featuring goku and you only saw up to the Freiza Saga. But it looks like more information about that will be announced soon.

The developer cyperconnect2 are developers of the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Games. So they are good at sticking to there games story and they do make their words pretty accurate to the worlds in their respective anime. They could tell the Story of Dragon Ball Z very well and having it as an RPG similar to the Legacy Of Goku games but in 1080, 4k graphics could be cool.
